Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is a game of first-person shooter developed by Sledgehammer Games and distributed by Activision, belonging to the Call of Duty franchise. It is the eleventh numerical delivery within the same series and the first developed by the company. It was released on November 4, 2014 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows.
Its development began in late 2011, shortly after the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Sledgehammer hired veteran actors Troy Baker and Kevin Spacey for the lead roles. The game is set in a future in which there will be the technology and advanced weaponry, costumes that give soldiers superhuman abilities, these include: supersaltos, climbing walls, invisibility, multiple skills and special grenades.
